The Financial Analyst, Capital Planning and Sales & Margin will report to the VP of FP&A.  The primary areas of focus will Capital Planning and Sales & Margin.

Capital Planning

  • Partner with the Store Planning team to provide capital analysis and monthly forecasts
  • Responsible for putting together support for monthly capital reviews with senior management
  • Perform ROI analysis on new and existing capital projects, including proformas
  • Support Stores team on adhoc requests
  • Update Capital Planning system with project funding and budget changes
  • Support Store Planning, Tech, and Facilities teams with monthly updates
  • Partner with respective teams on annual Plan/budget creation

Sales & Margin

  • Partner with Merchandise Planning on monthly by-store forecasts for sales and gross profit
  • Manage various elements of Central Gross Margin (Loyalty, Amex, etc) and provide updated monthly forecasts
  • Calculate monthly comps and work with Merchandise Planning on any sales and margin commentary
  • Budget/Plan and Forecast sales and margin elements
  • Support Stores Finance team on Plan and monthly forecast

Key Business Partners and Stakeholders

  • Capital Accounting – provide accurate and timely information on all open projects
  • Corporate FP&A – provide monthly forecast of Capex, upload respective forecasts and budgets
  • CFO’s office – provide adhoc support and analysis as needed
  • Store Planning  – support Store Planning team with reporting and any system funding and updates
  • SFA FP&A – partner with team members on adhoc analysis and store P&Ls as needed


  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Attention to detail and quantitative acumen
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Hyperion Essbase, Microstrategy
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environments
  • Self-motivation and the ability to complete deadlines with minimal supervision
