Who We Are

Fifth Avenue Club is an innovative new concept from Saks Fifth Avenue Stores.  Embedded in luxury hotels, or similar elevated environments, Fifth Avenue Club is opening across the United States in new markets where there is not a traditional Saks Fifth Avenue store.  The business will operate private, by-appointment-only, shopping experiences catering to an area’s most sophisticated clients. Fifth Avenue Club locations will have access to an endless aisle of luxury goods and the most premier brands that are available at our Saks Fifth Avenue store locations. Fifth Avenue Club locations will also host a series of exclusive trunk shows, curated events and top client outreach activities.

The Fitter is a pivotal role, interacting with clients to ensure an elevated experience is provided. The client must feel confidence that they will have the perfectly fit garment.

You Also Have:

  • Minimum 3 years fitting experience in high-end merchandise
  • Fluent English communication is necessary and any additional languages would be an asset
  • Experienced in pattern making, fitting, sewing and with garment construction
  • Ability to fit a diverse group of clients.
  • Pressing and spotting skills
  • Knowledge of Alterations industry including fabrication and styling of luxury merchandise.
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

 As The Fitter, You Will:

  • Measures and records all pertinent information around gown 'personalization'
  • Determines what alterations are required to create the desired fit of the garment
  • Studies what is and is not possible and is comfortable to communicate that effectively to the client
  • Pins, marks or chalks clearly
  • Model all Saks Fifth Avenue Customer Service Principles.
  • Focus on achieving and exceeding individual performance and productivity goals.
  • Maintain a consistent high level of customer service by creating and developing excellent customer relationships.
  • Follow all Saks Fifth Avenue policies and procedures.
  • Ability to utilize expertise to make alterations decisions during customer fittings.
  • Focus on all efforts on providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Support company/store and department initiatives.

Salary and Other Compensation:
